Herbert Mathews
Herbert “Matt” Mathews has been a hospital pharmacist for over 33 years. He has been involved heavily in hospital pharmacy management, serving as a clinical pharmacy manager, a pharmacy operations manager, and a director of pharmacy during that time. Currently, he is working as a pediatric night pharmacist which he describes as his semi-retired job. Matt obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Loyola College in Baltimore, Maryland, Doctorate degree in Pharmacy at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, and completed his pharmacy residency at St Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Matt lives in Freeland, Maryland with his wife Candyce and has three adult children.
