Dr. Charles Shidlofsky is a internationally respected Optometrist, author and lecturer. He graduated from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN and owns a private practice in Plano, Texas . The topics he teaches include Sports Vision, Binocular Vision Disorders, Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation, Myopia management, Nutrition and Vision, Visual Snow Syndrome and Developmental Vision. He is also on staff at Baylor Scott and White Institute for Rehabilitation in Dallas, Frisco and Las Colinas (Irving), Texas and a consulting Optometrist for Centre for Neuro Skills, Pate Rehabilitation and Encompass Health. Dr. Shidlofsky is a co-founder and Immediate Past President of the International Sports Vision Association, President of the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association. He has a fellowship in Vision Therapy and Rehabilitation from the College of Optometrists in Vision Development and Rehabilitation (COVDR) and an additional fellowship from the National Academy of Practice. In addition, Dr. Shidlofsky is the “Vision Coach” for FC Dallas (MLS), Dallas Stars (NHL), Allen Americans (ECHL) and Frisco Roughriders (MIBL) and has also worked with Texas Revolution (Arena Football), Texas Legends (NBA G-league), Cleveland Guardians (MLB), Toronto Blue Jays (MLB) and Dallas Sidekicks (Indoor Soccer). When he is not busy with optometry, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing hockey, watching sports, traveling. In addition, Dr. Shidlofsky is a certified private pilot.
